At Taylor & Waldrop, we are proud to announce that attorney Bradley A. Waldrop has joined our criminal defense team. Prior to joining Taylor & Waldrop, Mr. Waldrop ran his own general law practice where he personally managed a variety of cases including family law, criminal defense, estate planning, civil claims, and appeals. Before opening his own firm, attorney Waldrop served as an Assistant State Attorney at the Assistant State's Attorney's Office, Seventh Judicial Circuit.
As a prosecutor, he handled a variety of criminal cases such as
- DUI
- Sex crimes
- Juvenile crimes
- Repeat violent offenses
- Domestic battery
- Drug trafficking
He also served as co-chair on the high profile Morgan Leppert case, a unique case where the defendant was the youngest female in Florida's prison system at the time. He has prosecuted over 25 jury trials including homicide, and he managed a criminal docket with over 200 open felony cases at any given time.
In addition to serving as a former prosecutor, Mr. Waldrop has helped train law enforcement personnel in performing criminal investigations while protecting the suspect's constitutional rights, and he has assisted in developing training material for new prosecutors.
Bradley A. Waldrop obtained his Bachelor's degree at Flagler College (where he graduated cum laud). From there he went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law. He has been admitted to practice in the state of Florida since September of 2006, and he is a member of the Putnam County Bar Association.
Today, attorney Waldrop strictly focuses on representing those individuals that have been accused of committing criminal offenses. We strongly believe that his former experience working in the Assistant State's Attorney's Office, Seventh Judicial Circuit makes him exceptionally valuable to our criminal defense clients.
